Questions
What is FIFO inventory costing?
First in, first out: every sale is charged the cost of the oldest unit still in stock. A restock at a new price only applies once the older units are gone.
Can I track unmanifested pallets?
Yes. A bin holds any number of interchangeable units at a cost per unit, so a mixed pallet needs no item list. Add a batch each time you buy.
Do I have to label every item?
No. Bins need no item labels. Barcoded items are optional, for stock you want to track one unit at a time.
Can I import what I already have?
Yes. Add your bins with their costs, or pull a whole Shopify catalog in one click, with costs where Shopify has them.
Who can see my costs?
Only admins. Managers and staff see counts and days left, never a cost.
