What finalizing does#

Counting a show tells LASI how many units left each bin. Finalizing tells it how much money they brought in. Until a show is finalized it has no revenue, no fees, no profit and no host commission anywhere in LASI — the Sales page, Finance and the dashboard simply do not know it happened yet.

When you press Finalize & Create Sales Records, LASI does five things at once:

  • Turns the show into sales records. Every sold line becomes a sale on the Sales page, carrying its share of the gross, its share of the TikTok fees and its real cost (the cost of the exact units that left the bin).
  • Gives the show a number for its day, like Show #2. Two shows on the same day stay two separate rows on the Sales page instead of merging into one.
  • Books the giveaways. Items given away for $0 leave stock and count as a cost of the show, not as a sale.
  • Files the host’s pay to the Commission Tracker: their commission when the show has a host and commission is switched on for it, and the wage of a host paid hourly, a daily wage or per show. See How a host is paid.
  • Records the shipping buyers paid, so the show’s shipping profit can be worked out once the label bill is in.

Finalizing is safe to run again. If you finalize a show a second time — to fix a fee, pick a different stream or add a giveaway — LASI replaces the show’s sales records rather than adding a second set, and it never takes the sold units out of stock twice.

Which shows still need finalizing#

Open Auctions. Every show is a row, newest first, grouped by day. The status on the right says where it stands:

StatusWhat it means
Entering salesA post-show count that has not been confirmed yet.
Live / Staging / ReconcilingThe show is still running or still being counted back.
Not finalizedA staged show was counted back, or a post-show count was confirmed, but its sales are not recorded yet. It needs finalizing (or, for an old show, closing out).
CompletedFinalized. Its sales are recorded.
Closed outMarked done without finalizing: its sales were recorded another way. See Closing out an old show.

A show waiting on its money shows a Finalize button instead of View. The Needs attention filter above the list gathers them in one place.

Closing out an old show without finalizing#

Some shows ended and were never finalized, but their sales reached LASI another way: before shows were finalized in LASI, the TikTok import recorded each day’s sales on their own. Finalizing one of those now would count its sales twice. Close out marks it done instead.

  • On Auctions, a yellow note counts the shows that ended and were never finalized. Click Review and close out to see them all, oldest first.
  • Each show says whether the ledger already has TikTok sales that day that no show carries. Those are the ones to close out; Select the ones whose day already has sales picks them.
  • A show with No other TikTok sales in the ledger that day should be finalized instead: open it and pull its sales from TikTok.
  • Tick the shows, add a note if you like, and click Close out.
  • For one show, open its ⋯ menu and choose Close out without finalizing. On the phone, touch and hold the show on the Shows tab.

Closing out writes nothing to your sales, moves no stock and pays no host. The show reads Closed out and leaves every to-do list, the nightly reminder and the morning recap. Changed your mind? Reopen for finalize in the same menu puts it back.

Opening the finalize wizard#

Admins and managers

  1. 1Open Auctions.
  2. 2Click the show (or its Close out button).
  3. 3You land on Auction Summary. The tiles at the top show what was sold and, for admins, the cost of goods. Revenue and Profit read Pending until you give the show its gross.
  4. 4Choose where the gross comes from: Pull sales from TikTok or Upload CSV.

A host or staff member who opens this screen sees the count and a note that a manager or admin pulls the sales. Only admins and managers can finalize.

A staged show’s summary also offers Save as Draft — end the show and keep everything as it is, to finalize later.

Getting the gross: pick the TikTok LIVE#

Admins and managers

This is the normal way. TikTok opens a new "room" for every LIVE, and every order remembers the room it was sold in, so LASI can split a day’s orders into one card per stream.

  1. 1Click Pull sales from TikTok.
  2. 2LASI shows Which live was this show? (on a staged show, Which live streams were this show?) with the show’s business day filled in. Change the Business day box if the stream ran on another day.
  3. 3Each card shows the channel, the start and end time, the gross, and the order count split into sales, giveaways, cancelled and shipping.
  4. 4On a post-show count, click the one card that was this show. On a staged show, tick every stream that was this show — a stream that dropped and restarted is two cards — then click Continue with $… · N streams.

Orders that day that did not come from a LIVE (a buy-now order from your shop page, say) are counted under the list and left out of every card.

The CSV fallback

If TikTok is not connected, or the stream you want is not there, click Upload CSV (or Upload a CSV instead). Export your orders from TikTok Seller Center and drop the file on Click to upload CSV or XLSX. Both the Orders export (.csv) and the Finance settlement export (.xlsx) work. LASI reads the orders found, valid sales, giveaways, cancelled orders and the estimated settlement, and carries on exactly as if you had picked a stream.

Fees: there is nothing to type#

The wizard fills in Referral Fees (from TikTok) for you from your shop’s TikTok fee rate, set once by your admin under Settings → Business → TikTok Fees. The rate is applied to the item sales plus the shipping buyers paid, because that is what TikTok charges on.

Below it are Transaction Fees (from TikTok), TikTok Shipping Fees and Additional Costs (labels, supplies, etc.). Each line has an Edit link if you need to override it for this one show. Total Fees & Deductions and Net Revenue (after fees) update as you go.

Staged shows: matching, giveaways and cancels#

Admins and managers

A staged show’s wizard has three steps — Upload & Summary, Match Inventory, Profit Summary — because what went to the set has to be matched to what TikTok sold. After the gross, click Continue to Match Inventory →.

  • Match Orders to Inventory lists what sold. You can search for and add any barcoded item or bin units that sold but were not recorded.
  • Giveaway Items is where you pick what was given away for $0 — barcoded items by search, and bin units by quantity. They leave stock and count as a cost.
  • Predicted Cancelled Orders lists sales that match no TikTok order. They were probably cancelled; remove them to put the units back on the shelf.

Then click View Profit Summary →. A post-show count skips this step: its counts are already confirmed. More on each flow in The staged flow and The post-show flow.

The profit summary and the Finalize button#

The last step shows the whole show on one page:

  • Final Profit Summary (managers see Final Sales Summary): items sold, gross revenue, fees, and for admins the cost of goods, Net Profit and Profit Margin.
  • Shipping: what buyers paid for shipping (filled in from the stream or the CSV) and, for admins, Labels & postage you paid — optional now, and editable later. Until the label bill is in, Net Profit counts the collected shipping in full.
  • Host Commission, when the show has a host: the host, the net sales, the Commission Rate for this stream and the Commission Owed. Admins get a File it / Skip switch. On a show with several hosts, the Hosts panel appears instead and each host gets their own entry.

The start of the finalize wizard: pull the show’s sales from TikTok, or upload the CSV.
  1. 1Check the numbers. Use ← Back to change anything.
  2. 2Click Finalize & Create Sales Records.
  3. 3You see Auction Complete, how many sales records were created, and what commission was filed. View Commission Tracker opens the ledger.

Commission is payroll, so it is filed to the Commission Tracker and is not taken out of the show’s Net Profit on this page.

Finalizing on the phone#

Admins and managers

The iPhone app finalizes the same way. After you confirm a count, the show’s summary offers Pull sales from TikTok (on a show whose stream was linked and whose bin was named on the board, the phone goes straight there). It opens the stream picker — Which streams were this show? — with the show’s linked streams already ticked.

  1. 1Tick the stream or streams that were this show.
  2. 2Check the fee, the net revenue and the giveaways. On a show whose giveaway bin was named on the board, the giveaway line arrives filled in.
  3. 3Tap Finalize with $….

A finished show on the phone reads Finalized. Sales are in the ledger. with the show’s report underneath. A host who opens it sees the counts and their own figures; pulling sales is for admins and managers.

Show Autopilot: shows that close themselves (almost)#

Admins

Every night LASI looks for staged and post-show shows that were counted but never finalized, and drafts their close for you: the gross from the show’s linked TikTok streams, the fee at your shop rate, the cost of goods and an estimated profit.

Admins get a notification (on the bell and as a phone push) that reads like Ready to close: Friday Figs — $4,210.00 gross, with the sales count, shipping collected and estimated profit, and Review and finalize with one tap.

  1. 1Tap the notification. It opens the show’s finalize wizard with the stream already picked.
  2. 2Check the fees, profit and commission.
  3. 3Click Finalize & Create Sales Records yourself.

A show with no linked stream still gets a notification, saying no stream is linked yet — open the wizard and pick one.

A finished show’s report#

Admins, managers, and a host for their own show

Once a show is finalized, clicking it on Auctions opens its report instead of the wizard: how the show did, in depth. On the phone, tapping a finished show on the Shows tab — a sticker show included — opens its profit card with the same report underneath.

trylasi.com/auctions/…/report
A finished show’s report as an admin sees it.
  • The tiles: net profit and margin, revenue, units sold, paid orders, cost of goods, platform fees, average sale, profit per item, and host commission with the profit left after it. Units sold counts every item that left the shelf, each item of a bundle included, with the giveaways apart. On a sticker show, revenue also says how many sales those units went out in and how many were bundles, and the average sale is shown per sale and per item. Under the fees, LASI says whose figure it is: settled by TikTok, TikTok’s own estimate, or your shop rate.
  • Paid orders, units per hour and orders per hour: how many orders the show took and how fast it sold. An order is not a sale and not an item — a bundle is one order carrying several items, and a buyer who won two numbers and checked out once is one order too. Underneath it says what else the stream had: how many orders were free (a $0 giveaway is an ordinary TikTok order, but nobody paid for it, so it is not a paid order) and how many were cancelled. Each rate shows per minute underneath, over the time the LIVE ran.
  • If the number ends in a “+”, LASI is still reading TikTok’s orders and the count is at least that many, not the final figure. LASI reads the show’s orders when you open the report, but a show finalized the minute it ends can have orders still checking out; open it again in a little while. While it says “+”, orders per hour is left blank rather than showing a rate the show never sold at.
  • The stream: viewers and sales minute by minute, when the LASI Chrome extension was reading the LIVE. See Stream analytics. Paid orders are TikTok’s count, where a bundle is one order; the items and items per hour count every item in it.
  • If the rates look far too high, check the Live tile. The Chrome extension only reads the LIVE while one of its dashboards is open, so a show it caught eight minutes of used to divide the whole show’s items by those eight minutes. LASI now paces over the longest span it can prove — the readings, the show’s own clock, and the stream’s first and last order — so a LIVE the extension joined late still counts from its first sale. The Live tile shows the span it used and says when the extension joined late.
  • Hosts (or Hosts and commission): each host’s time on air, average viewers, sales, sales and items per hour, and the commission filed.
  • What sold best: the show by product, best seller first — units, sales, the average price and the price range, and for admins cost, profit and margin. A product’s name opens it in the Catalog. On the phone the card shows the top 10 with Show all. It appears for a show whose sales name their products — every sticker show does, since a scan names the item — and stays out for a show sold off unnamed bins.
  • By bin: what came out of each bin, with its cost and profit for admins. On a sticker show a bin holds many products, so this is the bins and What sold best is the products.
  • TikTok’s orders: paid orders, giveaways, cancelled and all orders.
  • If TikTok’s Seller dashboard shows a different number of items, that is the LIVE dashboard’s own “Attributed items sold”, which is an attribution counter rather than a record of what sold: it keeps counting while the LIVE runs, it does not come back down when a buyer cancels, and it stops when the dashboard is closed. On 28 September 2026 it read 8.8% BELOW one show’s real items and 0.9% above the next show’s, the same day and the same shop. LASI’s units sold is built from the orders themselves, so use it for what sold and treat the dashboard figure as a reading.
  • Shipping: what buyers paid, what the labels cost and the shipping profit.
  • Packing: boxes, packed and still to pack, with Open the bench.
  • Every sale (sticker shows): every sticker number in order, what went out under it with each item’s share of the price, and what it sold for — and for admins its cost and profit. Cancelled sales and the giveaways are listed too, so the list adds up to the report. Filter to Bundles or Cancelled, find a number or a product, or Download CSV. On the phone, tap Every sale on the What sold card.

When TikTok cancels a sale after you finalized#

Admins, managers, and a host for their own show

A buyer can cancel after the show, and sometimes it lands after you have already finalized. When that happens the sale is still counted as sold: its revenue, its items out of the bin and their cost. LASI catches it for you.

  • Admins and managers get a notification naming the sticker and the show, for example #A-12 was cancelled after Friday Home Show was finalized. It opens the show’s report.
  • The report says which sale it is, and the sale’s row in Every sale is flagged.
  • The packing bench stops the order’s box, so it does not ship.
  1. 1Open the show’s report (the notification takes you there).
  2. 2Click Take back #A-12 on the notice, or Take it back on the sale’s row in Every sale. On the phone, tap the same button on the What sold card or in Every sale.
  3. 3Read the question, which names the items and the price, and confirm.
  4. 4Put the items back on the shelf. If the box was already packed, take it out of the carrier bin and unpack it first.

Taking it back puts the items back in their bin at what they cost and takes the sale off your books: its revenue, fee and cost of goods. The show’s shipping is corrected, the host’s pay is filed again, and the box on the packing bench is marked handled. The report then reads as if the cancel had come in before you finalized.

Fixing a show after the fact#

Mistakes happen after the stream: the wrong host, the wrong day, a label bill that arrives next week. Each fix lives in the show’s row menu on Auctions — click ⋯ at the end of the row. On the phone, long-press the show on the Shows tab (or tap its ⋯).

Change a show’s date#

Admins and managers

If a show was recorded on the wrong day — a stream that ran past midnight, or a count entered the next morning — move it.

  1. 1On Auctions, click the show’s ⋯ → Change date.
  2. 2Pick the New date.
  3. 3Click Move Show.

The whole show moves to that day: its recorded sales, its entry on the Sales page and any host commission already filed. Times of day are kept, so sales stay in the order they happened. On a finalized show it also takes a fresh show number for the new day, so it never merges into another show already on that day.

Shipping for a show#

Admins and managers (label costs: admins)

Buyers pay a shipping fee on every order, and the labels often cost less. The difference is profit (or loss) per stream. Each show carries two figures:

  • Buyers paid for shipping — filled in when the show is finalized from TikTok or the CSV. On a closed show with a linked stream, Pull from TikTok fetches it.
  • Labels & postage you paid — the label bill, usually typed days later when it arrives. Only admins see or enter it.
  1. 1On Auctions, click the show’s ⋯ → Shipping.
  2. 2Check or pull Buyers paid for shipping.
  3. 3Type Labels & postage you paid, with an optional note.
  4. 4Click Save. The Shipping margin shows the difference.

A show whose label bill is missing is flagged in amber on the Auctions list and on the phone’s Shows tab (Label bill not entered). If you buy your labels through TikTok Shipping, LASI reads their cost from TikTok and there is no bill to type. More in TikTok fees and shipping profit.

Reopening a post-show count#

Admins, managers, and a host for their own show

A post-show count that was confirmed but not yet priced can be reopened if a number is wrong. This is on the phone: open the show’s summary and tap Edit sales, then Reopen. The sold units go back into stock and the show reopens for editing. Confirm the counts again when they are right.

Once a post-show or staged show is finalized, correct a count on its summary screen on the phone instead: tap a bin’s line to change how many sold, or Add a pallet that was missed. Stock and cost move with the count, and the show’s gross is re-spread over the corrected sales.

Deleting a show#

Admins and managers

  1. 1On Auctions, click the show’s ⋯ → Delete show.
  2. 2Read the summary (platform, status, date) and the warning.
  3. 3Click Delete Auction.

Deleting unwinds the show: staged items go back to available, bin units are put back at the exact cost they left at (so your bin’s value does not drift), bundles restock every bin they came from, giveaways are put back, and the show’s sales records are deleted. It cannot be undone.

Deleting a show from the Sales page#

Admins and managers

A finalized show also appears on the Sales page (Analytics → Sales), in its channel’s tab. Its row menu has Edit sales, Rename and Delete show. Deleting there removes every sale record of the show, restores the barcoded items and bin quantities, and also removes the show from the Auctions page, so the two pages never disagree.

Common questions#

My bins went down but the Sales page shows nothing for last night. Why?

The show was counted but not finalized. Counting moves stock; only finalizing records the money. Look for Not finalized or a Finalize button on Auctions, or wait for tonight’s Show Autopilot notification.

Where do I type the TikTok fee percentage?

You do not, at finalize. Your admin sets the shop rate once under Settings → Business → TikTok Fees, and every show uses it. Each fee line in the wizard has an Edit link for a one-off override.

I picked the wrong stream. Can I fix it?

Yes. Open the show’s report, click Edit or finalize again, pick the right stream and finalize again. The sales records are replaced, not doubled, and stock is not taken out a second time.

The stream I want is not in the list.

Check the Business day box — a stream that started before midnight may sit on the previous day. If TikTok is not connected, or the stream is simply missing, use Upload a CSV instead.

The fee on a finished show changed a day later. Did someone edit it?

No. The fee at finalize is an estimate at your shop rate. When TikTok reports its own fee for the show’s orders, LASI swaps in TikTok’s figure. See TikTok fees and shipping profit.

The report says more units sold than TikTok has orders. Which is right?

Both. TikTok counts a bundle as one order, however many items went in the box. Units sold counts every item that left the shelf, giveaways included, and a sticker show’s report says how many sales and bundles they went out in. Every sale lists each one.

A buyer cancelled after I finalized. Do I have to delete the show?

No. LASI notifies you and flags the sale on the report. Click Take back on it: the items go back in stock at what they cost and the sale comes off your books. See When TikTok cancels a sale after you finalized.

Why is there no host commission on a show I finalized?

Either the show had no host, or commission was switched off for it. An admin can fix it with ⋯ → Link host, which files the commission from the recorded sales.

Can a host finalize their own show?

A host can open their own show and its report, but pulling the sales and finalizing is done by an admin or manager.

Does Show Autopilot ever finalize by itself?

Never. It drafts the close and notifies admins. Nothing is recorded until a person presses Finalize.

Why does a manager see Revenue but not Profit?

Profit and cost of goods are for admins only, on every screen. Managers see sales, fees and shipping collected.

I deleted a show by mistake. Can I get it back?

No — deleting cannot be undone. The stock was put back, so you can create the show again and re-enter its count, then finalize it.
