Where your sales live#
LASI keeps one list of everything you have sold, whatever the place: your TikTok shows, your Shopify store, a wholesale buyer, a table at a flea market. Every sales screen reads that one list, so the Dashboard, the Sales page and Finance always agree with each other.
A sale lands on that list in one of four ways:
- Finalizing a show. When you finalize a show, its sales are written to the list. See Finalizing a show.
- The TikTok Show Import, for a show you ran without LASI and want to record from TikTok’s export file.
- Shopify. A connected store’s orders arrive by themselves every hour. See Integrations.
- Selling by hand from Inventory, for a wholesale or in-person sale. See Inventory.
One list of everything sold, whatever the place.
The Orders page is the exception: it reads TikTok directly, order by order, as orders come in. It is the place to watch a stream sell, not the place to read your profit.
Who sees which numbers#
Sales screens split money into two kinds. Revenue is what buyers paid. Profit and cost is what those sales made you after fees and what the stock cost. Your role decides which you see.
| Role | What they see |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything: revenue, fees, cost of goods, profit, margins and show expenses. |
| Manager | Revenue, fees, units and order counts on the Dashboard, the Sales page, Orders and SKU pricing. No cost, profit or margin anywhere, and no Analytics or Finance page. |
| Host | No Dashboard or Sales page. On the iPhone app a host can open Orders with prices, because a host calls prices out on stream. |
| Staff and customer service | None of these screens. |
The Dashboard#
Admins and managers
Open Dashboard, the first item in the sidebar. From top to bottom it shows:
- The live panel, while you are streaming, or your last stream once it ends (next section).
- A reorder warning, only when something needs ordering: “3 products need ordering now” in red, or “2 products to order this week” in amber, with the product that runs out first. Click it to open the Forecast. See Forecasting.
- Sales for the range you pick, with tiles, a chart and a comparison with the period before.
- Shipping, what buyers paid for shipping against what the labels cost (see below).
Anyone who can run shows also gets a New show button in the top right.
The live panel on the Dashboard#
Admins and managers
While you stream, the Dashboard opens with that stream’s numbers: what TikTok reports for it, and what a laptop running the LASI Chrome extension reads off TikTok’s LIVE dashboard when one is paired. With neither, the panel does not appear. See The LASI Chrome extension to set it up.
- While you are live a dark panel marked Live on TikTok shows Watching now in large type, the peak so far and when it happened, a curve of the last 30 minutes, and tiles for Items sold, GMV, Views, Likes, Comments, New followers, Shares, Impressions and Product clicks (only the ones the page prints). If the stream is linked to a show, its name is a link to that show.
- After the stream the panel becomes a Last stream card for the most recent stream in the past week: its date, times, length and hosts, then Peak viewers, Items sold, Gross and Views. Open stream › opens its full page in Stream analytics.
If you read one LIVE on two laptops (the data screen on one, the streamer desktop on the other), the Dashboard shows it as one stream, not two.
Reading the Dashboard’s sales tiles and chart#
Admins and managers
- 1Pick a range above the tiles: Today, Yesterday, 7D, MTD (month to date), 30D, 90D, YTD (this year), All or Custom. The Dashboard opens on 30D.
- 2For Custom, fill in From. To is optional; without it the range runs to today.
- 3Read the tiles. Each one shows the change against the same stretch just before it: today so far against yesterday up to this time, month to date against last month up to the same date, and so on.
- 4Hover a bar on the chart to see that hour, day, week or month.
| Tile | What it is |
|---|---|
| Revenue | What buyers paid for items, every channel, before any expense. |
| Gross profit (admins) | Revenue less fees and the cost of the goods sold, with the margin under it. |
| Units sold | Items that left, with the average price per unit. |
| Fees | Platform fees on those sales, and their share of revenue. |
| Cost of goods (admins) | What the sold units cost you. |
The chart picks its own grain: by hour for a single day, by day up to about six weeks, by week up to a year, then by month. A quiet day is a zero bar, not a gap. The chip beside the chart names your best bar, such as “Best day: Sat, Sep 20 · $4,210”.
The Shipping card on the Dashboard#
Admins and managers
Under the chart, the Shipping card covers the same range: what buyers paid for shipping against what the labels cost. It hides itself when nothing in the range has shipping recorded.
- Shipping profit (admins): buyers paid less label cost, over the shows that have both.
- Buyers paid: shipping collected from buyers.
- Labels cost (admins): label bills entered so far.
- Awaiting bill: shows that collected shipping but have no label bill yet.
When a show is waiting for a bill, an amber note says so. An admin can click Enter bills, then Enter bill on a show, type what you paid and an optional note, and press Save, all without leaving the Dashboard. Every show › opens the full list in Finance. The whole topic is in TikTok fees and shipping profit.
The Sales page#
Admins and managers
Open Sales under Analytics in the sidebar. The page has one tab for each place you sell, plus an Overview first.
- Overview puts every place side by side in a table called Where it was sold: count, revenue, fees and shipping, and for admins cost and profit. Click a place to open its tab.
- One tab per place, such as TikTok Live, Shopify or Wholesale, with a count beside its name.
- Unmatched, in red, only when a Shopify order could not be matched to your stock.
- + Add a place, to make a tab for somewhere new you sell.
Pick the period with the menu in the top right: All Time, Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, Last Year or Custom Range. The cards across the top (Sales, Revenue, Fees, Shipping, and for admins Cost and Profit) follow the tab and the period.
Opening a show on the Sales page#
Admins and managers
A live-show tab (TikTok Live or Whatnot Auction) lists your shows the way the Auctions page does: grouped under a heading for each day, one row per show with its Items, Revenue and, for admins, Profit.
- 1Open the TikTok Live tab.
- 2Click anywhere on a show’s row. It opens in place, right under the row.
- 3Read the totals strip: Items, Revenue, Fees, and for admins Cost, Gross Profit, Expenses, Net Profit and Net Margin.
- 4Click Products Sold or Pallet Sales and then Show All to see each item or bin the show sold, with its price, fees and (for admins) cost and profit.
- 5Click the row again to close it.
Helper and packer pay for a show
An open show carries an Expenses block (admins only). This is where you record what the show cost in people, and it is the only place LASI takes those numbers from, so the labor lines on your P&L depend on it.
- 1Open the show and click Add expenses (or Edit if some are already there).
- 2In Edit Expenses, pick the Host and their Commission % or Commission Amount, and fill in the Auction Duration.
- 3Under Helpers, click + Add for each person who helped on the set, pick them, and type their hours and rate.
- 4Under Shipping/Packing, do the same for the people who packed the show.
- 5Add anything else under Additional Expenses, then save.
Adding, hiding and removing places#
Admins and managers
- 1On the Sales page, click + Add a place at the end of the tabs.
- 2Type the name, such as
WhatnotorWholesale, and click Add Channel. - 3The place gets its own tab here, and appears as a channel when you mark items sold from Inventory.
To tidy the tabs, open one and click the small × beside its name. A place you added that has no sales is removed. A place with sales is only hidden: its sales are kept, and you can show it again under Settings → Business → Sales Channels.
Unmatched sales#
Admins and managers
When an order (usually from Shopify) arrives for something LASI cannot find in your inventory, it lands on the red Unmatched tab instead of guessing. The Issue column says No Match (LASI does not know the product) or No Inventory (it knows it, but none is in stock).
- 1Open the Unmatched tab.
- 2Click Link on a row.
- 3In Link to Inventory, search for the barcoded product (Search SKU, then Select Size) or the bin (Search Pallet) it came from, and set the Quantity Sold.
- 4Click Link & Mark Sold. The sale moves to its place’s tab with the right cost, and the stock is taken out.
Click Dismiss for an order you do not want recorded at all.
Importing a TikTok show from a file#
Admins and managers
The TikTok Show Import records a show from TikTok’s own export file. Use it for a show you ran without LASI, or for TikTok Shop orders that were not sold on a live. For a show you ran in LASI, finalize it instead; see Finalizing a show.
- 1On the Sales page, open Overview and click the TikTok Shop card (it shows when you have not sold outside your shows), or open a show’s ⋯ → Edit sales to change one already recorded.
- 2Under Upload TikTok Orders, choose your TikTok Shop Order Export: either the Finance settlement export (.xlsx) or the Orders export (.csv).
- 3Check the Show Date. LASI reads it from the file when it can.
- 4Read the Import Summary, then click Continue to Inventory Matching →.
- 5On Match Inventory, pick the bin or item each sale came from, and any Giveaway Items.
- 6On Profit Summary, check the numbers and press Save & Update Inventory.
If a show is already recorded on that date, LASI asks Multiple Shows on Same Day: choose Add to Show #1 to add to it, or This is a New Show to record a second show that day.
The Orders page: TikTok orders as they arrive#
Admins and managers (hosts on the iPhone app)
Open Orders in the sidebar. It pulls your orders straight from TikTok Shop every time you open or refresh it, and stores nothing of its own. The header says which shop it read and when.
- 1Set From and To to the days you want. It opens on today.
- 2Type in Search to find an order ID, a buyer, a product or a sticker number.
- 3Tick Auto-refresh to keep the list updating while a stream runs, or press Refresh to pull now.
- 4Click a status chip (Awaiting shipment, Cancelled, …) or a channel chip to filter.
The six cards sum the orders you are looking at:
| Card | What it is |
|---|---|
| Orders | How many orders, and how many of those were cancelled. |
| Units | Items ordered, and how many were giveaways. |
| Item subtotal | What the items sold for. This is your sales number. |
| Avg order | The average order’s item subtotal. |
| Shipping paid | What buyers paid for shipping. |
| Customer paid | Everything buyers paid, shipping and tax included. |
In the table, each order shows its time, the order number (click ⧉ to copy the full ID), the buyer’s nickname, each item with its sticker number, the quantity, Subtotal, Total and Status.

LIVE badges and naming your streams#
Admins and managers
TikTok marks every order sold during a LIVE with the stream it came from, but it gives no name for that stream. So LASI shows a pink LIVE badge on each of those orders and lets you name the stream after your channel (the TikTok account you went live on).
- Named automatically. If one of your shop names from
Settings → Shows → TikTok Shopsappears in the stream’s listing titles, LASI names the stream for you. - Named by hand. A badge with a dashed border has no name yet. Click it, and pick a name under Channel for this stream. A name you pick always wins over an automatic one.
Once streams are named, the chips above the cards filter by channel (“Home Goods · 212”), with LIVE for unnamed streams and Not live for orders sold outside a stream.
Linking a stream to a show#
Admins and managers
Naming a stream says which account it was on. Linking it says which LASI show it was. The link is what lets LASI read a show’s gross, its shipping, its cancels and TikTok’s exact fees. LASI never links by time, because shows on two accounts often run at once and a count is typed in after the stream ends.
- On the iPhone app, open the Today tab. Under Streams today, tap the stream and choose Link to “<show name>”. You can also Unlink it there.
- On the web, a stream is linked when you pick its session while finalizing the show. See Finalizing a show.
One show can have several streams: if your stream dropped and you went live again, TikTok gave the second part a new stream, so link both.
The Analytics page#
Admins
Open Analytics under Analytics in the sidebar. It answers how your shows, hosts and sales channels are doing, using the same rules as Finance: each sale at what its stock actually cost, days in your business timezone, and one show per show (two shows on the same day stay two).
Pick a range in the bar at the top — 7d, 30d, 90d, MTD, YTD or Custom — then a tab. The tab is part of the page address, so you can bookmark one.
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Overview | The headline tiles (Revenue, Profit, Shows, Units sold) against the same length of time before, a revenue and profit trend, Top shows, By channel (sales, units, revenue, share, profit and margin for each place you sell) and Best day to go live — the average show by the weekday it ran. |
| Shows | Every finalized show in the range: host, units, revenue, fees, cost of goods, profit, margin and average price. Sort by any column, search, and open a show for its full report. |
| Hosts & team | Hosts: each host’s shows, revenue, revenue per show, profit, commission, what is left after commission, and their best show. Show-day team: helpers and packers paid per show (from each show’s expenses on the Sales page) — shows, hours, pay and pay per hour. |
SKU pricing: what each product sells for#
Admins and managers
SKU pricing shows what each product really sells for, by size and over time, and (for admins) against what it cost — with the highest margin, the best profit per unit and the best sellers a sort away. It covers barcoded units and every unit a sticker show sold out of a bin, because each scan named the product. Open it from Inventory → More → SKU pricing, or on the iPhone app from Menu → SKU pricing.
- 1Pick a range: 30 days, 90 days, 6 months or 12 months.
- 2Read the tiles: Units sold (plus how many were given away), Sales, Average sale, On the shelf, and for admins Profit.
- 3Type in Find a product, code or brand, or change the sort: Sales, Units, Average price, Price trend, Sell-through, Oldest on shelf, and for admins Profit and Margin.
- 4Click a product to open its By size table and its Average price over time chart, with the median price, what it Last sold for, Days to sell and how long the oldest unit has sat on the shelf.
- A giveaway counts as a unit that left, never as a price, so it does not drag the average down.
- An average marked
*comes only from bundles: it is that product’s share of bundle sales, not a price anyone bid. - A product with any unit of unknown cost shows no profit or margin rather than a wrong one.
- On the iPhone app each row shows the average price with the product’s margin under it (admins only; a manager sees the word average). Pick the Trend sort and that line becomes the price trend instead, marked trend: the later half of the units sold against the earlier half, so a few percent down is normal on a listing whose first units bid highest.
Common questions#
Last night’s show is not on the Dashboard or the Sales page. Why?
A show reaches your sales only when it is finalized. Open Auctions, find the show, and finish it. Counting what sold is not enough on its own. See Finalizing a show.
Why does the Orders page show more than the Sales page for the same day?
Orders is TikTok’s live order feed, including orders from shows you have not finalized and orders that will be cancelled. The Sales page shows only what has been recorded as sold.
My manager says the profit column is missing.
That is on purpose. Managers see revenue, fees and units, never cost or profit. Only admins see profit.
The fees on a show changed after I finalized it. Is that a mistake?
No. Fees at finalize are an estimate. Within hours LASI replaces them with TikTok’s own figures, and again when orders settle. See TikTok fees and shipping profit.
Every order in a stream has a dashed LIVE badge.
LASI could not work out the stream’s channel. Click the badge and pick a name. If the picker is empty, add your TikTok account names under Settings → Shows → TikTok Shops.
The Orders page says TikTok Shop is not connected.
An admin needs to connect it under Settings → Integrations → TikTok. The Sales page, Dashboard and Finance still work without it.
I deleted a show on the Sales page. Did it put the stock back?
Yes. Deleting a show restores the bins and barcoded items it sold and removes the show from the Auctions page too.
Why does the Dashboard’s day not match my laptop’s day?
LASI groups sales by your business day, in the timezone under Settings → Business → Timezone. Change it there if it is wrong.
The Dashboard has no live panel.
The panel appears only when a laptop running the LASI Chrome extension is paired. See The LASI Chrome extension.
A Shopify sale keeps landing on Unmatched.
LASI does not know which of your products it is. Use Link once; to stop it happening, make sure the product in Shopify is linked to your LASI item. See Integrations.
