How Settings is organised#

Admins and managers

Open Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. The page shows one group at a time, picked from the tabs across the top: Team, Business, Shows, Shipping, Integrations, Billing & data and Account. A one-line hint under the tabs says what the open group is for.

trylasi.com/settings#business
Settings shows one group at a time; the tab is part of the page’s address.

AccountAdmins and managersSticker barcode (QR or lines, your own choice), Appearance, Sign Out, Delete my account…

Each group has its own address, so a link can open one directly — for example /settings#shows. Hosts, staff and customer service have no Settings page on the web.

Most changes save when you press the card’s own save button, and a green or red message at the top of the page says whether it worked. The timezone, the sales channel ticks and the TikTok fee switches save the moment you change them.

Team#

Admins and managers

Team

Every login on the business, with its role. Invite Employee creates an invite link; the dropdown on a row changes that person’s role; Remove takes their login away. A Host’s row has a second dropdown linking the login to their staff record (it reads No payroll link until set). Pending Invitations lists invites not yet used, with Email Invite, Copy Link and Revoke. Managers can invite and manage Hosts, Staff and Customer service; admins can manage everyone except themselves.

Preview as role (admins)

Buttons for Manager, Host, Staff and Customer service reload LASI as that role would see it. A pill at the bottom of the screen says Viewing as … with Exit preview.

Staff & Payroll (admins)

The people on your payroll, whether or not they log in. + Add Staff asks for a Name and a Role (Host, Worker or Both). A host gets Host pay: How is this host paid? — Commission, Hourly, Daily wage or Per show — with the Rate for a wage, Also pays commission for a wage plus a cut, and the Commission %. A worker gets an Hourly wage for packing and warehouse work (someone on Both gets both). Each row says how that person is paid; Edit pay changes it (Save pay), clicking a commission host’s “… % commission” changes just the rate, and Remove takes them off the list and keeps their history. How each kind of pay works is in How a host is paid.

Host Commission Tiers (admins)

Optional rates by sales range that apply to every host who has no tiers of their own. Edit, then + Add Tier per range and Save Tiers; Start from the example fills in a starter ladder. With no tiers, each host earns their own rate. Per-host and per-channel tiers are edited in the iPhone app under Commission → Commission settings; the card names who has them.

All of this is explained step by step in Your team and roles and Hosts, co-hosts and commission.

Business: name and timezone#

Admins

Business Name is shown on invites and anywhere LASI names your business. Change it and press Save. The change is recorded in the audit log.

Timezone is the calendar day used for show dates, sales reports and day-by-day totals. It saves as soon as you pick one. The choices are Eastern — New York, Central — Chicago, Mountain — Denver, Mountain, no DST — Phoenix, Pacific — Los Angeles, Alaska — Anchorage and Hawaii — Honolulu.

Business: TikTok Fees#

Admins

The referral rate LASI applies when a show is finalized — on the web, on the phone and in the SKU review — and how it is kept accurate.

trylasi.com/settings#business
The TikTok Fees card: the rate, what TikTok actually charged, and two switches.
  • TikTok fee (%) with Save TikTok fee — the rate you type. TikTok charges it on the item price plus the shipping the buyer paid, and so does LASI.
  • The grey panel shows what TikTok actually charged over the last thirty days, once enough orders have settled, and the same dollars as a share of item sales alone. Do not type that second, larger figure into the box — the shipping would be charged twice.
  • Use my measured rate automatically — on by default. Once enough orders have settled, LASI uses the rate it measured and re-measures every day; until then the typed rate applies.
  • Update each show’s fees as TikTok settles — on by default. Every hour, a show with a linked stream has its fee replaced by TikTok’s own figure per order. Turning it off puts every show back on the fee given at finalize.

The link How LASI calculates TikTok fees opens the full explanation. See also TikTok fees and shipping profit.

Business: Platform Fees#

Admins

LASI reads a platform’s real fees from the platform itself wherever it can. TikTok’s come from TikTok’s settlements (see TikTok Fees above), and a Shopify order’s from what Shopify Payments charged on it. So TikTok has no row here.

The rates on this card are for the rest: places whose fees LASI cannot read, like Whatnot or Shein. A Shopify order also carries its rate here until Shopify’s own figure is read, usually within the hour. Each row has Platform Fee (%), Processing (%) and Processing ($). Press Save Changes after editing.

A place you sell that has no rate of its own uses Other. To give one its own rate, fill in Add a platform with its name as your sales channel reads (for example Shein) and the three numbers, then press Add platform.

Business: Sales Channels#

Admins

Every place your sales have come from, each with a tick box. Unticking one hides its tab on the Sales page, its row in the by-channel table and its sales from the headline totals. Nothing is deleted: tick it again and the channel comes back with its full history. Unmatched is the pseudo-channel for sales not yet linked to inventory.

Changes save as you tick. See Dashboard, Sales and Orders.

Business: Forecasting#

Admins

The defaults for the reorder math on the Forecast page. The order-by date is the date a bin is expected to run dry, minus the lead time and the safety days; a suggested order buys enough to cover the order-cover days.

SettingMeansStarts at
Lead time (days)From placing an order to the units being on the shelf14
Safety buffer (days)A cushion before the predicted dry date7
Order cover (days)How much stock a suggested order buys30

Press Save forecasting defaults. Any bin can override these on its own page. See Forecasting and reordering.

Shows#

Admins

TikTok Shops

The shop account names you stream on. Type one and press + Add Shop; Remove takes one off. Each show records which shop it ran on, so sales can be compared per account. The names are typed by hand.

Auction Templates

Manage opens your presets for building a show in TikTok Seller Center: a list of your templates, each opening on its own page with the basics (name, shop, how you record sales), the LIVE event (name, description, length, age limit), the rounds (one auction listing each, with its name, category, quantity, starting bid and timer), what is the same for every listing (warehouse and the timer rule), and the shipping answers including hazardous materials. A What this makes box shows the event and its listings as scheduling will create them. Templates are picked when scheduling listings; only admins can edit them. See Scheduling listings.

Fragrance Catalog

A shared catalog of fragrance notes, for sellers who stream fragrance. Tick Use the fragrance catalog and the scanners (the web Quick Scan and the phone’s Scan tab) show a Fragrances search, and an on-air card with the notes whenever you scan a fragrance in the catalog. It is off for a new business. Browse it opens the list. The catalog is shared by every business and kept up to date centrally; its page says whether your business can edit it.

Price Calculators

Manage opens the calculator builder: item lists with costs taken from your bins, a platform fee and a target profit, published to the people who run your shows. See Price calculators.

Shipping#

Admins and managers

The Shipping card’s Manage opens the shipping settings page. Admins also see Labels and printers, with buttons to the Shipping labels and Printing integrations.

trylasi.com/settings/shipping
Shipping settings: templates, boxes, the buying switch and the rules.
  • Shipping templates — for each kind of stream, what an item weighs, the most items in a bundle, and which box each bundle size ships in. New template, Edit, Archive and Restore.
  • Boxes — the mailers and boxes you stock, with their size, an optional In stock count and Warn when at or below level. Cost per box is seen and entered by admins only.
  • Buying labels — off until someone presses Allow buying… and confirms with Yes, allow buying. While it is off, the Shipping page still shows what each box would cost. Switch buying off turns it off again.
  • Preferences — Most orders in one box, Wait after a live session (minutes), Mail Innovations max weight (lb), Mail Innovations max box size (in³) and Price previews to ZIP, saved with Save preferences.
  • Carrier account — Open carrier settings goes to the Shipping labels integration (admins).

Managers can change all of this except box costs and the carrier account. See Shipping templates, labels and the shipping queue.

Integrations#

Admins

The Integrations group lists every connection. Each row opens its own page, with ← Settings at the top to come back.

Integrations: TikTok Shop#

Admins

  • Connection — when not connected, Connect TikTok Shop sends you to TikTok to approve LASI. When connected, it shows the Shop, Shop ID and Last Sync, with Test Connection, Re-authorize (approve again, to pick up newly added access) and Disconnect.
  • Product categories — Sync categories copies TikTok’s category list so auction templates can pick a category instead of typing one.

LASI connects TikTok Shops registered in the United States. Step by step: Setting up your business.

Integrations: TikTok returns#

Admins

How returns are decided in LASI. The same page is the Settings tab of the Returns area.

  • Send decisions from LASI — off at first (“LASI is watching only”). While off, nothing in LASI can send TikTok a decision; the team keeps deciding in Seller Center. Turn on… explains what changes and asks you to confirm; Switch off works instantly.
  • Customer service refund limit — Limit (USD) and Save limit. A customer service decision that would refund more waits for an admin; managers and admins get a confirm step. Empty means no limit.
  • Deadline alerts — First alert and Urgent alert, in hours before TikTok’s deadline, and Ping customer service when a new request arrives.
  • Rules for decisions — Require a photo to reject a request, and Print a return slip after the desk inspects a package.
  • TikTok webhook — whether TikTok is telling LASI about changes as they happen (it is set up on LASI’s TikTok app for every shop; there is nothing to paste), with the time of the last webhook, last sync and last timeline read.

See TikTok returns and cancellations.

Integrations: Stream stats#

Admins

  • How it works — the link to download the extension and the steps to install it.
  • Pair a laptop — name the laptop and press Pair laptop to get a one-time pairing code to paste into the extension. Paired laptops are listed, marked sending while live, each with Revoke.
  • Stream history — how many streams are kept, and Rebuild from the readings kept to recompute them (useful after an update; readings are kept for 90 days).
  • If a number is missing — how to send support the extension’s diagnostics.
  • Sale snapshots — Keep a picture of every item that sells (off until you turn it on, for every paired laptop at once), then Keep three frames of each sale instead of one and Listen for the size the host says.

See The LASI Chrome extension and Stream analytics.

Integrations: Shopify and Homebase#

Admins

Shopify

  • Connection — type your yourstore.myshopify.com address and press Connect; once connected, Test Connection and Disconnect.
  • Auto-Sync (Webhooks) — whether Shopify orders reach LASI by themselves; Register Webhooks if they are not.
  • Default Settings — Default Sales Price, Default Product Status (Draft or Active) for products pushed to Shopify, and Auto-sync inventory changes to Shopify; Save Settings.
  • Product Linking — Manage Links ties Shopify products to your items.
  • Sync Inventory — Check Sync Status compares quantities; Match Shopify → App or Match App → Shopify fixes the difference in one direction.
  • Pull Orders from Shopify — fetch past orders for the last 24 hours up to 30 days with Pull Orders.

Homebase

  • Paste a Homebase API key and press Connect Homebase. Then Sync now, Replace API key or Disconnect.
  • Employees — link each Homebase employee to a staff record so schedules and hours line up.
  • LASI only reads from Homebase and syncs every night by itself.

See Shopify, Homebase and other connections.

Integrations: Printing and Shipping labels#

Admins

Printing

A print station is one printer reached through PrintNode, a small app on the bench computer. Paste your PrintNode API key, press Find printers, pick the Printer, give it a Station name and Save. Each station then has Test print, Change printer, Replace API key and Remove; Add another station adds a second bench or a sticker printer. See Printers, scanners and cameras.

Shipping labels

  • How labels are bought — Shippo (one pasted token) or Your own UPS account (your negotiated rates), with Test connection.
  • UPS account — Client ID, Client secret, Account number and Environment (Test (CIE) or Production), plus Mail Innovations contract fields.
  • Shippo account — the API token.
  • Ship-from address — printed on every label; UPS requires a phone number.
  • Default box, UPS services (labels are never bought with insurance or signature), and Cost approval — Require approval over a dollar amount, $15 to start; a manager’s label above it waits for an admin.

See Shipping and Replacement requests.

Integrations: Claude#

Admins

  • Server URL — the address to add as a custom connector in Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, which then asks you to sign in and approve.
  • Access tokens — for Claude Code and other tools that need a key: a Name, an Allow changes tick, and Create token. The token is shown once. Each token and connected app is listed with Revoke.
  • What Claude can do and Recent agent activity — what it may read and change, and what it did.

Claude can never sell, finalize a show, refund a buyer, buy a label or delete stock or sales. See LASI with Claude.

Billing & data#

Admins

trylasi.com/settings#billing
Billing & data on an active plan: the plan, the full export and the audit log.
  • Billing — your plan and its state (trial, active, payment failed, ended), plan cards with Choose … while choosing, and Manage on Whop to change plan, card or cancel.
  • Your Data — Export all data downloads everything your business has recorded (inventory, cost layers, sales, shows, expenses) as one file.
  • Audit log — every destructive or accountable action (When, Who, Action, Details): removing a member, deleting or finalizing a show, changing a show’s date, renaming the business, changing the timezone, exporting data. Nobody can edit or delete it. Load more shows older entries.

See Billing, plans and your data.

Account#

Admins and managers

Appearance

Light, Dark or System (follows the device). It is saved on this device only.

Sign Out and Delete my account…

Sign Out signs you out of this browser. Delete my account… removes your login; the business and its records stay, because sales history belongs to the business.

Settings on the iPhone app#

The iPhone app has no Settings page; a few settings live on its Menu tab instead:

  • Team — invite people, see pending invites, and tap a member to change their role or remove them, under the same rules as the web.
  • Appearance — light, dark or follow the phone.
  • Commission → Commission settings (admins) — per-host and per-channel commission tiers.
  • Sign out and Delete account.

Everything else in this chapter is set on the web.

Common questions#

I only see Team, Shipping and Account.

You are signed in as a manager. The other groups are for admins.

I cannot find Settings at all.

Hosts, staff and customer service have no Settings page on the web. Ask an admin to make the change.

I changed the timezone and old shows moved to a different day.

Days are worked out in your business timezone, so changing it re-groups the past too. Change it back if that was not intended.

Which fee setting does a TikTok show use?

TikTok Fees. Platform Fees are for Shopify orders and fee estimates on individual sales during a show.

I hid a channel on the Sales page. Did I delete its sales?

No. Tick it again under Settings → Business → Sales Channels and it comes back with its full history.

Can a manager change the shipping templates?

Yes. Managers can change templates, boxes (except their cost), preferences and the buying switch. The carrier account and printers are admin-only.

Who can see the audit log?

Admins, under Settings → Billing & data. It cannot be edited or deleted from the app.

How do I get a copy of all my data?

Settings → Billing & data → Your Data → Export all data.

Not on LASI yet?

Signups open soon. Leave your email and we’ll tell you the moment they do.

One email when signups open. Nothing else, and never your address to anyone.
