What the iPhone app is for#
The LASI iPhone app is a native app built for the places you are not at a desk: on the set during a stream, at the truck when a delivery comes in, at the returns table, and anywhere you want to check today’s sales. It works on the same account and the same data as the website — anything you do on one shows up on the other.
It is not a copy of the website. Setting up your business, most of Settings, and a few desk jobs stay on the web; they are listed in What stays on the web.
Getting the app#
LASI is on the App Store and free to download. On your iPhone, open LASI on the App Store or search the App Store for LASI, then tap Get. It appears on your home screen like any other app.
From version 1.1 on, most improvements reach the app by themselves: LASI downloads them in the background and switches to them the next time it starts. Closing LASI in the app switcher and opening it again takes any update it has already downloaded. The line at the bottom of Menu says when your app last updated.
Bigger changes still come as a new version from the App Store. Turn on App Updates in the iPhone’s Settings → App Store and those install on their own too. The app is for iPhone; there is no Android version to install yet.
Signing in#
- Sign in with the same Email and Password you use on the website, or with Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google.
- Joining a team: tap the link in your invite email on the phone. It opens the app’s join screen, where you enter Your name and a password and tap Create account & join (or Sign in & join if you already have a login).
- Starting a new business: that is done on the website. If you sign in before your business exists, the app shows Almost there with Set up on the website; come back and tap I’ve finished — check again.
The first time, a short tour shows the four places you will use most. Tap Skip the tour if you do not need it.
To sign out, tap your initial at the top right of Today, or Menu → Sign out. Menu → Delete account permanently removes your login.
The five tabs#
The tab you are on is lit.
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Today | What is happening now: yesterday’s recap in the morning, the sales chart, the show on air, today’s streams, packing, your commission, who is working. |
| Shows | Every recent show — start a new one, open one, and fix one after the fact. |
| Inventory | Your bins and your catalog items, and deliveries on the way. |
| Scan | Point the camera at a bin label, item barcode or UPC to see what it is. |
| Menu | Everything else, grouped as Money, Inventory, Operations and Account. What you see depends on your role. |
The Today tab#
LASIToday, while a show is running
Today shows the cards that apply to you, top to bottom:
| Card | Who sees it | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Arriving today | Admins, managers | Supplier shipments due at your dock today. It is only there on a day one is due. It is the first card, unless a show is on air, when it sits under the show. See Arriving today. |
| Yesterday | Everyone (what is in it depends on your role) | What yesterday came to. Before noon it is the first card (unless a show is on air); later in the day it sits under Streams today. Tap it for the whole day. See Yesterday’s recap. |
| Sales chart | Admins, managers | Your sales over time. See The sales chart. While a show is on air, it moves below the show card. |
| Live on TikTok | Everyone | Viewers and peak from the LASI Chrome extension, only while a stream is live. See The LASI Chrome extension. |
| Show card (On air / Counting sales) | Everyone | The show running now, with its host, units counted or lots sold, and a button back into it (Back to the sale or Enter sales). Admins see Profit so far, Margin, Orders, Per unit and Avg sale on a one-bin post-show — an estimate, and the card says what it assumes. On a scan-to-sell show the card fills in as you scan: Profit so far, Margin and Sold come from the sales that have found their TikTok order, with Awaiting for the ones still waiting on a buyer’s checkout and Not scanned for numbers TikTok sold that nobody scanned. With no show running: No show running. |
| Streams today | Everyone (when TikTok is connected) | Today’s TikTok LIVE streams with their revenue (admins, managers, hosts), orders and cancels. Tap a stream for its menu. See Tapping a stream. |
| Needs you | Admins | Shows ready to close that need their streams pulled or a sales file. |
| Packing now | Admins, managers | Packing sessions running and any packer who has gone quiet. Tap a row for that show’s packing. |
| Today | Admins | Revenue, profit, units and margin for today; All time opens the Finance screen. |
| My pay | Hosts | Your own pay — commission, a wage, or both. See A host’s pay card. |
| Working today | Everyone | Who is on the schedule; Schedule opens the week. |
The app opens straight onto what it showed you last time — every card keeps its last figures on the phone — and refreshes them behind the scenes, including when you come back to the app after it has been in the background. Pull down on the screen to refresh everything at once. Signing out clears what the phone kept.
Admins and managers see a small amber replacements icon at the top, with a count, whenever a customer’s replacement request is waiting for a decision. Tap it to open the request (or the list, when there are several). It disappears once nothing is waiting.
The sparkle button beside your initial at the top opens Ask LASI: ask about your shows, bins, sales, streams or commission, or how anything works, and it answers from what your role can see. See Ask LASI, and LASI with Claude.
Arriving today#
Admins and managers
On a day a supplier shipment is due, Today shows an Arriving today card so you know a truck is coming before it is at the door. On any other day the card is not there.
LASIToday, on a day a truck is due
A shipment is on the card for one of two reasons, and its row says which:
| The row says | It means |
|---|---|
| Out for delivery | Someone set the shipment to Out for delivery, on the web under Where is it?. It stays on the card until the shipment is delivered. |
| Expected today | The shipment is still on its way and the day typed as Expected is today. |
Each row shows the carrier, the PRO or tracking number, the supplier and how many pieces. Tap a row to open its order, where you can Receive it or tap Mark delivered. Incoming at the top right opens every order and shipment.
A row leaves the card as soon as the delivery is received or the shipment is marked delivered. The card also leaves out a shipment set to Problem, and any shipment on a cancelled order.
Yesterday’s recap#
Today, first thing in the morning
The Yesterday card on Today is the morning read: how yesterday went, worked out overnight so it is there the moment you open the app. Tap it for the full recap, and use the arrows at the top of that screen to walk back through earlier days.
| Who | What their recap holds |
|---|---|
| Admins | Everything: sales and profit against the same day last week, each show with its profit, every stream (peak viewers, gross, items per hour) and each host on air, the best sellers, packing (boxes, pace, mispacks, labor) with each packer and each show packed, replacement requests and TikTok returns, and the host pay filed for the day. |
| Managers | The same without a fee, a cost, a profit or anyone’s pay. |
| Hosts | Your own streams (viewers, gross, items) and the pay filed for you that day. |
| Staff | Your own packing — boxes, items and pace — and how many boxes the team packed. |
| Customer service | New replacement requests and TikTok returns, and how many are waiting. |
- Sales and profit are the same figures as the Analytics page: a show that has not been finalized is not in them yet, and the recap names it so you can close it.
- A stream whose TikTok sales have not come in yet shows a dash, and the card says how many are still waiting.
- Every row opens where it came from: a show its report, a stream its minute-by-minute page, a packing sitting its show’s packing.
- Pull down on the recap screen to work the day out again — useful after finalizing a show from that day.
The sales chart#
Admins and managers
The chart at the top of Today is built to be shown off: it holds revenue only — never cost or profit — so it is safe to screenshot and post. When nearly all your sales are TikTok’s, it carries the TikTok Shop mark.
- Ranges: tap Today, Week, 7D, 30D, Year or All under the bars. Every range loads at once, so switching is instant.
- Week is this week, Monday to Sunday. Last week is drawn behind each day as a faint column with a line at its figure, so a day that beat last week shows the line inside its bar, and the days still to come show what there is to beat. Under the bars, Last week gives its whole total.
- What to count: the switch at the top reads Sales (item prices), GMV (sales plus the shipping and sales tax buyers paid, as TikTok counts it) or Units (items sold). The card remembers your choice. In GMV, the three parts are listed under the bars so you can check the total by eye.
- The comparison: Today is compared with the same weekday last week (for example vs last Sunday), Week with the same days of last week (on a Wednesday, vs Mon–Wed last week, so a Monday morning is never “down” against a whole week), 7D with the 7 days before, 30D with the 30 days before, and Year with the year before. With nothing earlier to compare with it says so rather than showing +100%.
- Orders and average sale: orders are real TikTok orders. When some days are still syncing from TikTok, the count shows a
+(for example97,627+) and the card says it runs low. - While a stream is on air: today’s bar includes streams not finalized yet, the card wears a LIVE dot and says Includes today’s streams, not finalized yet.
Reading and opening a bar
- Hold your finger on the chart and slide across to read each bar. Lift your finger to go back.
- In Week, a held day is compared with the same day last week, for example ▲ 12.3% vs last Thursday ($4,120). A day still to come says what last week did that day.
- Tap a bar to see what it is made of: the Shows, the Top products and, when you sell in more than one place, Where it sold — each with its share. Tap a show to open it.
LASITap a bar
Sharing it
- 1Tap the share button at the top right of the chart. The full-screen view opens with just the total and its bars.
- 2Tap the screen to hide the controls.
- 3Take a screenshot (side button + volume up) and post it.

The home-screen widget#
Admins and managers
The same sales figure can sit on your home screen or lock screen as a widget. There are two to choose from, and both show identical figures — they are two drawings of one number, so they can never disagree.
- LASI Sales — the dark indigo one, with the seven-day chart. Small, medium and large on the home screen, and all three lock-screen shapes (the circle, the rectangle and the one-line one).
- LASI Sales (Plain) — one big number, no chart, and it follows your phone’s light or dark appearance instead of always being dark. Small, medium and large.
- 1Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen until the icons wiggle.
- 2Tap + (or Edit → Add Widget) and search for LASI.
- 3Pick LASI Sales or LASI Sales (Plain), swipe to the size you want, and tap Add Widget.
A widget cannot fetch anything on its own, so it shows the figures from the last time you opened the app. It ages honestly: at the end of your business day "SALES TODAY" becomes "SALES YESTERDAY", and a day later it names the day. Open the app to refresh it.
Notifications and the cha-ching#
The first time you sign in, iOS asks whether LASI may send notifications. Allow it to be told about the things below. You can change it later in the iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → LASI. What you receive depends on your role.
Sale pings
- Admins and managers get a Cha-ching notification with its own cash-register sound.
- TikTok rings at milestones of the day’s paid orders — the first sale, then 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 and so on — not every sale. A busy stream would otherwise buzz every few seconds.
- Shopify rings for each sale, with the amount.
Other notifications
- A show ready to close, the daily reorder digest, replacement requests and their decisions, a packer who has gone quiet, boxes near TikTok’s ship-by deadline, and returns delivered but not checked in.
- Tapping a notification opens the right screen.
- Signing out stops notifications to that phone for your login.
A host’s pay card#
Hosts
Today for a host
- This week and Today — what you are paid: your commission, plus your wage if you are paid hourly, daily or per show — and the week’s Streams and Gross.
- The last stream (Today’s stream or Last stream) and what it paid, with its Shipping, Avg sale, Giveaways and Units — your own share on a shared stream. An old entry without these shows a dash.
- The last stream’s audience from the Chrome extension: Peak viewers, Avg viewers, Views.
- A line such as 1 stream not finalized yet when a show you ran has not been finalized. It shows no dollar figure: pay is filed when the show is finalized. Ask whoever closes your shows.
Tap Every stream for Menu → My pay, where each stream is named with what it paid (a wage shows its hours or kind on its own line) and can be ranked by pay, gross, average sale, units or shipping. More in Hosts, co-hosts and commission.
The Shows tab#
Shows lists recent shows. Filter with All, Active, Needs attention and Done, or search by show or host. Tap New to start one: name it, pick the host and platform, and answer When are you recording sales? — Stage first, sell live, After the show, or SKU live — scan to sell. See Shows: types and creating one.
Fixing a show: long-press
Touch and hold a show to open its menu. What appears depends on your role:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Hosts | Who hosted, switches between hosts, and each host’s numbers. |
| Link host & pay / Change host | Set or correct the host. Each host shows how they are paid; the commission box appears only for a host paid commission. |
| Change date | Move the show to the right day. |
| Close out without finalizing / Reopen for finalize | Mark an old show done when its sales came in another way, or put it back. See Closing out an old show. |
| Shipping | Enter what buyers paid and the label bill. A show missing its bill says Label bill not entered. |
| Print stickers | Send a roll of numbered stickers to a printer. |
| Delete show | Delete and unwind the show. |
Rows also carry chips you can tap: an amber Add label bill (or Label bill not entered), a Shipping figure, or Link host. See Finalizing, show reports and fixing a show.
Running and closing a show on the phone#
- Post-show (After the show): the counting board runs during the stream — its run time, Selling out of one bin? (Pick the bin), Giveaways come from (Pick the giveaway bin), the linked TikTok stream (Pick the stream, Link another stream), who is on air, and for admins Profit so far. Its bottom button reads End show & finalize, which walks you through counting what sold (Confirm … sold units), then pulling sales and finalizing. See The post-show flow.
- Staged: stage bins, then go live. During the stream the live board shows what is on the set — add units mid-show or bring out a bin that was never staged. Nothing is sold on the phone: sales are pulled from TikTok afterwards. When the stream is over, tap End show — pull cancels and count back what returned. See The staged flow.
- SKU live (stickers): scan a sticker, then the items. See Sticker shows.
- Pull sales: choose Which streams were this show?, check fees and giveaways, and Finalize. Pulling sales is for admins and managers.
Pulling the cancels (staged shows only): tick each cancelled unit as you fetch it off the rack. If the list cannot be read (no stream linked, TikTok not connected), Continue without the list asks for a reason. Post-show and sticker shows skip this step; the packing bench flags a cancelled item when its sticker is scanned.
Working with a bad signal
When the connection drops on a scan-to-sell screen, your scans are kept on the phone and sent in order as soon as the signal is back (the screen says Connection lost — scans queued, sending in order). Wait for them to finish before you undo or end the show. Menu → Sync lists anything the phone is still waiting to send, or that was rejected, and lets you discard it.
Scanning and the camera#
The Scan tab looks things up: point the camera at a bin label, an item barcode or a UPC and LASI says what it is — a bin with its count, an item and where it is, a catalog item found by its UPC with how many are in stock, or No match. Tap Scan next for another. Fragrances searches the fragrance notes catalog; it is there only when your business uses it (Settings → Shows → Fragrance Catalog on the web).
The first time any screen needs the camera, LASI explains why and shows Continue. Tap it and iOS asks for permission. If you said no before, the button reads Open Settings instead: turn Camera on for LASI there and come back.
Admins also see the price on the card. Scanning an item label (an AUC- sticker) names that one unit, so it shows what that unit cost. Scanning a product’s own UPC names the product, so it shows what the next unit to sell will cost — the oldest one in stock, which is the one a sale takes — with the range beside it when the shelf holds more than one price, and how many are in stock and at a show. Open item goes to the product, where every delivery behind that stock is listed.
The Inventory tab: Bins and Items#
Inventory has two views, switched at the top:
- Bins — your pallets, with their counts (and value at cost, for admins). + Add makes a new bin. Tap a bin to open it.
- Items — one row per product you have, with its picture, barcodes, stock and the bin it lives in. It opens on On hand: products with units in stock or at a show, or whose bin still holds units. Tap All for every product LASI knows, or use the line under the chips — “128 more products with nothing on hand · Catalog” — to open the Catalog. Search by name, brand, color, code or barcode; sort Newest or A–Z. The barcode button at the top opens Catalog barcodes. Admins see what a unit costs on the right of each row, under the stock count: that is the next unit — the oldest one in stock. A product whose stock is a bin has no unit of its own, so its price is on the bin line instead.
What a product cost
Open a product and admins and managers get a Stock card under the counts: one card per size, with how many are on hand and, below that, what is in stock one delivery and price at a time, oldest first — which is the order a sale, a show or a loss takes them in. The first is marked Sells next. Each delivery names the day it was bought, who it was bought from and the invoice number; Open the order and its invoice goes to the delivery it came in on. Admins also see what each delivery cost per unit, the next unit price and what the stock on hand is worth. Managers see the deliveries and their dates with no money on them. It is the same card as the Items tab on the web.
Putting items in a bin
- 1In Items (tap All first if the product has no stock yet), touch and hold a row to start selecting, then tap others.
- 2Tap Put in a bin and pick the bin. The picker shows how many items each bin already holds.
For one product, open it and use the bin card: Put it in a bin, Change bin or Unlink. Linking only says where a product lives — it never moves stock. A banner such as 2 deliveries on the way opens Incoming. More in Inventory and The catalog.
Catalog and Catalog barcodes#
Admins, managers and staff
- Menu → Catalog — every product. Open one to rename it, add photos (Take or Choose), change a barcode’s size, set its bin, or Delete this product (LASI says first if it cannot be deleted, and why).
- Menu → Catalog barcodes — walk the shelves and scan. A barcode LASI knows answers at the bottom of the screen; a new one opens a short form (What you call it, color, size, photos) to Save. Nothing here becomes stock or a cost. Type a barcode helps with a scuffed label, and Barcodes LASI knows lists what you have taught it.
Receiving a delivery#
Admins, managers and staff
- 1Open Menu → Incoming (or tap the delivery banner on Inventory, or a row of Arriving today on the Today tab). Orders lists what is on the way; Shipments lists every truck with its tracking link, then the ones that arrived in the last two weeks.
- 2When a truck pulls in, tap Mark delivered under its shipment and confirm. You can skip this: receiving marks the shipment delivered for you.
- 3Open the order and tap Receive …. The screen What came? starts every line at what was ordered.
- 4Correct only the lines that came up short. For each short line, say whether the rest is still coming or to claim it as a credit.
- 5Tap Mark … units received. This is what makes the stock live: bins get a new cost layer at the landed cost, and the freight is divided over what arrived. The next screen says how many units are on the shelf and which shipment was marked delivered.
If the button explains why it cannot receive — a line with nowhere to go or no price — fix that on the web first. If there is no signal, try again: a retry counts as the same receipt, never a second one. If the order has two or more shipments on the way and only part of it came, LASI does not guess which truck it was: mark the one that came. To take a Delivered back, use Edit on the web. See Incoming orders.
The Returns desk#
Admins, managers and staff
- 1Open Menu → Returns desk. Its badge counts what is waiting: packages to check in and, for admins and managers, packages that only need an answer.
- 2Scan the return label with the camera (Type it in for a scuffed label). The phone picks the right barcode on a UPS label by itself.
- 3Mark each item: Like new, Opened or used, Damaged, Not in the box or Something else, or tap Mark all like new. A bundle is marked item by item: set How many of this came back? and tap Add another item from this package for each different item. Take photos — a photo from an item’s own row is filed under that item.
- 4Choose Put it back in stock for items going back on the shelf (Pick a bin… if LASI asks which bin).
- 5Tap Finish checking in the bar at the bottom. Print slip prints to this phone’s packing printer.
- 6Admins and managers then tap Give your answer: pick a choice under Your answer (the one LASI suggests is first) and tap Send to TikTok.
Staff finish the package and it is handed to the people who decide. See TikTok returns and cancellations.
Finance on the phone#
Admins
Menu → Finance is kept simple. Pick a range (Today, Yday, Week, 7d, MTD, 30d, 90d, Year) and one of three views:
- Overview — profit and revenue, the profit chart, cost of goods, fees, units and Best pallets. An amber line appears when a show is waiting on a label bill.
- Shows — each show’s revenue and profit.
- Costs — three cards, Expenses, Shipping and Losses, each with its total for the range; tap one to open it.
Managers get Menu → Shipping profit (what buyers paid and which shows still owe a bill, never the margin) and Menu → Losses. The full P&L, cash flow and settlements are on the web: see Finance.
Calculators#
- Running one (everyone): Menu → Calculators lists what your admin shared with you. Tap items in with the + and − buttons; the price to ask shows under Sell for, with Profit beside it. The chip at the top showing the fee and target (for example
6% · $5.00) opens PLATFORM FEE % and TARGET PROFIT $ to adjust; Target snaps back to the target price. - Building one (admins): tap + on the Calculators list. Name it, add items with Pick a bin (brings the bin’s name and next-unit cost) or Type one in, choose Published and Everyone, then Create calculator.
Editing an existing calculator and sharing with named people are on the web. See Price calculators.
Dark mode and how popups look#
Menu → Appearance chooses Match the phone, Light or Dark for this device. A few screens stay dark on purpose whatever you pick — the live show board, the counting board, the cancels list and the scanners — so a bright screen does not light up your face on camera.
Pop-up cards (pickers, menus, forms) float on a glass-like card over a dimmed screen. Tap outside the card to close it.
What stays on the web#
Use a computer for these:
- Creating your business, and almost all of Settings (integrations, shipping, fees, the Chrome extension, printing).
- Changing someone’s role or removing them from the team.
- Deciding a return’s refund, and the rest of the Returns inbox.
- Reading a supplier invoice into an incoming order, placing its lines, freight, and Match items.
- Editing an existing calculator, or sharing one with named people.
- Laying two streams side by side.
- The full Finance page (P&L, cash flow, settlements), the shipping queue and buying labels.
Common questions#
Is LASI on the App Store?
Yes. Search the App Store for LASI, or open LASI on the App Store on your iPhone. It is free to download; you sign in with the same login you use on the website.
Something in this guide is not in my app.
The guide describes the newest version of LASI. Close LASI in the app switcher and open it again, which takes any update it has downloaded. If it is still missing, check the App Store for an update to LASI; if there is none yet, the feature comes in the next version.
How do I know my app has the latest update?
The line at the bottom of Menu says when the app last updated. LASI downloads updates in the background and switches to them when it next starts, so closing it in the app switcher and opening it again takes anything waiting.
Is there an Android app?
Not to install yet. On Android, use the website in your phone’s browser.
Why don’t I see the sales chart?
It is for admins and managers. A host sees their My pay card instead.
What is the difference between Week and 7D on the sales chart?
Week is the calendar week, Monday to Sunday, compared with the same days of last week. 7D is always the last seven days, whatever day it is, compared with the seven days before them.
Why is a Menu row missing?
Rows follow your role — see The Menu, by role. If you think your role is wrong, ask your admin.
The camera button says "Open Settings".
You declined camera access earlier. Tap it, turn on Camera for LASI in the iPhone’s Settings, and come back.
I never get the cha-ching.
Sale pings go to admins and managers. Check that notifications for LASI are allowed in the iPhone’s Settings, and remember TikTok rings at milestones (1st, 50th, 100th order of the day…), not every order.
My scans say they are queued.
The phone lost its connection. It sends queued scans automatically, in order, once the signal is back. Menu → Sync shows anything still waiting or rejected.
My widget shows yesterday’s sales.
Widgets cannot fetch on their own. Open the app and the widget catches up.
Why does the orders count show a +?
Some days’ orders are still syncing from TikTok, so the count is at least that many. It fills in on its own.
Do changes on the phone show on the website?
Yes. Both work on the same account and data.
Not on LASI yet?
Signups open soon. Leave your email and we’ll tell you the moment they do.
